I ran into my buddy Mike tonight whom I haven’t seen in so long. He was hanging out with his friend Hallie and he introduced me to her. I asked how he was doing and all that. He said he was doing fine. He then turns to his friend Hallie and starts telling her how ‘awesome’ of a friend I was. I looked at Hallie and smiled as I was listening to my buddy’s story and I just simply said, ‘No.. no… not really.’ with a smile on my face.
As the conversation went on, I Immediately sensed that someone was either sick or in pain. Since I was right next to Hallie I asked her if she’s either sick or in pain. She said no. And then my buddy Mike said he was. He just got over a flu yesterday and his body is in pain. So without hesitation I asked him if I can pray for him right there and then. He said yes so I placed my hand on his chest and commanded for the pain & sickness to go away and that God would restore him completely right away. After we prayed, he looked at me and said, ‘I have a strong feeling that I’ll be perfectly fine tomorrow morning when I wake up. Thanks Mark!’ I’m enjoying this season of my life and how God’s teaching me how to listen, hear and obey His lil promptings. God reminded me today that every single conversation we have we someone is never a waste of time and God has always something for us in those moments. We just need to be sensitive and aware as to how He wants us to love and minister to the person we are talking to. Lord, thank you for my buddy Mike. Thank you that you are already restoring him now as i type these words. And thank you for helping him recover from flu. I pray that you bless him tonight and that you bring complete healing over his body. In your name, AMEN!
